Fundraising Fight Nights in conjunction with The Make a Wish Foundation are proud to unveil “The War of the Wishes” on Friday 21st February 2014 in The Wright Venue South Quarter Airside. This boxing bonanza is in aid of the truly wonderful charity Make-A-Wish Ireland.
After a six week intense training camp under the expert eye of Conor Ahern 30 daring white collar fighters will enter the ring and go head to head in a bid to raise vital funds for “The Make a Wish Foundation.”
Since 1992 Make-A-Wish has granted wishes of children that live with life threatening medical conditions. Make-A-Wish provides children aged between 3 and 17 years and their immediate families with a magical escape and wonderful lifelong memories. Through their tireless work Make-A-Wish enrich children’s lives by offering delight, hope and enjoyment. In order for Make-A-Wish to go on granting wishes they rely solely on the generosity of everyday people as they receive no government funding.
