Fundraising Fight Nights are excited to launch ‘Telephone House Throw Down’ a White Collar Event destined to make Fight Night History. On Saturday 18th of July 2015, The Dandelion Nightclub will bear witness to TSS vs. Telephone House. For one night only, under the bright lights of Dandelion Nightclub, 30 brave fighters will pledge their allegiance and go toe to toe in a bid to become a Fundraising Fight Night Champion.
Annually, the compassionate employees of Telephone House come together to raise essential funds and awareness for the Simon Community. This year they decided to undertake the ultimate challenge and enter the ring in an effort to maintain this tradition whilst raising money for another worthy charity ‘Console’. The Simon Community works tirelessly to tackle homelessness in Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow. They deliver services to society’s most vulnerable in a bid to secure them a place they can call home. Through dedicated professional counselling, Console provides vital services to people in Suicidal Crisis and those Bereaved by Suicide.
Under the expert tutelage of Conor Ahern, fighters will push their bodies and minds to the max in a vigorous six weeks training camp. After the training camp, fighters will display their newly developed pugilist skills in front of their families, friends and colleagues in what is promised to be a spectacular fundraising event. Loyalties will be left outside the ring, gloves will be laced and battle lines drawn as these Eircom Warriors undertake the ultimate test to raise money for their deserving charities.
