Conor Ahern Irelands biggest White Collar Boxing promoter is a guest speaker at the cutman course.

Our very own Conor Ahern former Irish International Boxer and 13 times Irish boxing champ and White Collar Boxing promoter will talk about his International Amateur Boxing career. His experience as an international boxer the removal of headgears and the introduction of Hemostatic Agents (drugs to stop bleeding).  The possible implications for competition e.g. single event and international events where you may box over 5-6 fights in a week. The introduction of a 3rd man in the corner allowed to use drugs to stop bleeding AIBA rule 16.2.3. This course promises to be very informative and fun at the same time. It’s a must for any male or female interested in combat sport.

• Responsibilities of a Cutman.
• Rules & Regulations: Boxing & MMA
• How to professionally wrap hands.
• How to use sanctioned drugs effectively.
• Joseph Clifford will discuss various types of cuts & lacerations and appropriate treatment of these injuries.
